A Woman Should Be Two Things: Who she is and What she wants.

 

In this series we speak to women who have stepped into leadership roles within local council to represent their constituents.  In what has been described as a wave of change (in particular since #metoo) woman are speaking up, speaking out and stepping forward to have their say about what matters. 

Community is the foundation of our society.  Local Councils administer the support, funding and coordinate events and groups that are needed and wanted.  Many come with experience, passion and a purpose to preserve, protect and progress the local area, it's environment and more importantly its' residents. 

In each episode you will hear our guest share their why, the challenges they expect to face and how they intend to deliver on their electoral promises.
