PART 1. In this episode, Pip and Sarah-Jo chat with locals: Emma Watts from the Daisie Chain and a talented musician meeting the needs of and entertaining our ageing population in movement and music, and Jess Thorne, a serial volunteer and community leader,  from the Wildlife Emergency Rescue group (WER) and ORRCA.   Having lived in Kurnell for years they shared the highlights and hotspots and an emotional recount of the Tornado that ripped through this tight knit community nearly 5 years ago. 

Sarah also speaks with local resident Jeremy from Stage Kings and Carolyn who owns 'I love Kurnell' on instagram.  

Hear Sarah Jo's humble acceptance of the Westfield Hero Award nomination and what that means for SO Shire. 

Pip also interviewed Wayne Reynolds who is an ORRCA volunteer who has spent over 20 years counting the increasing number of hump back migrating up and down the east coast.

Pip and SJ speak with owner of Kurnell 1770, Kim who shares why Kurnell is such a special place for Sutherland Shire.
